Service Description
This class meets once a week for an hour for four consecutive weeks. Reflexology is just as suitable for babies and children as it is for adults. In this 4 week course, parents will learn reflexology techniques to support their children, of any age, with a wide range of conditions and symptoms. The benefits of reflexology are endless and can be therapeutic whether a child is well, stressed or feeling low. Reflexology can be helpful for a baby who is experiencing colic, pain, problems feeding, teething issues, irritability or sleeplessness. It can be helpful for an older child who may display agitation or hyperactivity, show a lack of confidence, be fearful or under stress, or show a disconnection from others. It can also help with pain and digestive troubles. Parents will learn the history of reflexology, what it is and how to do it. During each class they will learn several reflexes, including the benefits and how to work them. Each class provides demonstrations and hands-on techniques with time to practice, as well as feedback from parents on their home practice. The classes are for adults only.
