Facial Reflexology and benefits

Facial reflexology focuses on the reflex points of the face much like reflexology of the feet.  Just like the feet, the face is also divided into 10 zones, guiding the reflexologist like a map of the body.  Stimulating reflex points on the face helps to stimulate the body’s healing functions and helps to improve circulation and nerve conduction.  It also encourages the release of toxins via the lymphatic system.  By balancing these reflex points, it helps to balance the whole body, helping the body to perform at its optimal level.  Facial reflexology differs from Hand and Foot reflexology in that the face is in close proximity to the brain and cranial nerves allowing for deeper levels of relaxation.

I am trained in Advanced Facial Reflexology using The Bergman Method, created by Ziggie Bergman herself, a well-known reflexologist of the UK. This method incorporates Asian body maps of the face, Zone Theory as well as Native American techniques.  Facial Reflexology has been known to help alleviate the symptoms of migraines, stress, teeth grinding, sinus congestion and IBS.  It has also shown good results with nerve issues, such as Bell’s Palsy.
